Alex Rubinov DMD, MS
Dr. Alex Rubinov is a periodontist with advanced training in implant and regenerative surgery. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in 2018 and practiced as a general dentist for five years before pursuing specialty training in periodontics at the University of Iowa, one of the nation’s most rigorous programs. During residency, he focused on full-arch implant reconstruction, soft tissue grafting, bone regeneration, and advanced digital workflows.
His passion for teaching has led him to serve as visiting faculty at the University of Iowa and as a surgical mentor with Implant Pathway, where he trains dentists in advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Rubinov has lectured nationally and earned first place in the Academy of Osseointegration Case Poster Competition for his work on optimizing soft tissue outcomes in the esthetic zone.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys strength training, photography, and time with his wife and children. His philosophy of combining precision, communication, and patient-centered care reflects Revive’s mission of excellence.

Teaching
Dr. Rubinov is committed to advancing surgical education and mentoring the next generation of clinicians. He serves as faculty at Implant Pathway, where he trains dentists nationwide in advanced implant and grafting techniques, and as a Visiting Faculty Member at the University of Iowa Department of Periodontics, where he works directly with residents in surgical training.

- Active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the most prestigious implant organization worldwide.
- National recognition by winning first place in the AO Case Poster Presentation Competition (Figure2).
- Winning ePoster, Butterfly Graft: Optimizing Soft Tissue Outcomes in Adjacent Maxillary Implants using a Digital Approach. This was selected from more than 250 submissions from both U.S. and international applicants. This award highlights not only his surgical expertise but also his dedication to innovation in esthetic and digital approaches to implant therapy.
